Made from a thin press formed sheet metal, they are prone to leak between the mounting bolts, inlets get crushed or boots easily blow off of them.  Beans Diesel Bean Machine has resolved all of these issues as well as improving air flow and performance. By redesigning them, we can now attain much better air flow over factory intakes.  With the machined aluminum surface, you get a perfect seal to the head while also being very rigid. These may sound expensive, but they are quite economical compared to the frustration of blown boots or having to re-seal stock sheet metal, plus they just look killer!

Eddie Motorsport’s new 1967-72 C10 billet aluminum hood hinges are both beautiful and functional. The new hood hinges are a custom alternative to cheap stock stamped steel hinges. Superior materials and a modern design that smoothly guides the hood up and down. These Billet Hood Hinges are designed as a direct bolt-on to update the standard stamped factory and spring assembly with slots to adjust the alignment. All of Eddie Motorsports’ hinges are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum to provide a secure foundation for the weight of the stock hood. To ensure smooth operation, sealed bearings are incorporated at pivot points to ensure long lasting action. It is a difference you can see and hear the first time you open and shut the hood.
