Every year, the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center in Biloxi transforms into a mecca for custom truck and car enthusiasts, and 2024 was no exception. Scrapin the Coast, now in its 22nd year, continues to draw in a massive crowd from all corners of the country. This year’s event, held from June 21-23, was another unforgettable weekend filled with the finest lifted, lowered, classic, and late-model trucks and SUVs.

We were on hand to capture the excitement and showcase the vibrant community that Scrapin the Coast attracts. The turnout was impressive, with vehicles of every make and model gleaming under the Mississippi sun. While the summer heat can be intense, the spacious, air-conditioned indoor area provided a much-needed respite and a prime spot to admire some truly remarkable rides.

One of the highlights of Scrapin the Coast is the stereo competition, where participants battle for the loudest and clearest sound. This year’s competition was fierce, drawing large crowds and showcasing some impressive audio setups. The air bag and hydraulic hop-off behind the main stage also saw intense action, with spectators cheering on their favorite vehicles.

For those looking for a break from the automotive action, the cornhole tournament in the convention center lobby provided a fun and competitive alternative. Live performances from multiple bands, along with sets from DJ Get Low and entertainment from DJ Maze & Toast, kept the energy high throughout the weekend. The event also featured a charity auction on Saturday, benefiting Scrapin for a Cause and reinforcing the show’s commitment to giving back to the community.
