Specifically engineered for 1994-2004 Dodge RAM 2500 and RAM 3500 4x4s with the Cummins Diesel engine, the NV5000 is manufactured by ZF and it is a direct, bolt-in replacement for your worn-out NV4500. With an all-new design that relocates the 5th gear to the front of the mainshaft, the NV5000 completely eliminates the 5th gear failure issues that have plagued the NV4500HD. The NV5000 is rated for 500 pounds of torque and 500 horsepower, plus it is designed for compatibility with the NV4500 bell housing and all related clutch components, making it versatile and easy to integrate into existing systems.
