The CC16’s a great fit for 283-350-ci engines in 1967-69 Firebirds and Camaros and 1968-72 Novas with stock motor mounts. They work with both stick and automatic transmissions, and offer good clearance for spark plugs and engine-mounted components except stock Camaro air conditioning. This front coil-over system for Ford models (Mustang, Torino, Falcon, among others) is easy to install, has tremendous shock travel and is highly adjustable. Installation only requires drilling 6-10 holes depending on the kit and is available in two different geometry curves: street/handling or street/drag racing. Global West also changed the shock mounting and made the lower shock mount closer to the center of the tire to provide better dampening of the suspension with smaller, less extreme shock adjustments.
