When it comes to GM-only shows, the first one that comes to most people’s minds is Dino’s Git Down in Glendale, Arizona. Even though there are a ton of GM- or even C10-specific shows around the country, Dino and his crew put on the largest GM event and it’s technically not even a “show.” There is zero spectator fee and zero registration fee. Just show up, park, and enjoy a ton of cool trucks and vendors. No judging and no awards means a weekend of hanging out and not worrying about competing, which is why we all got into this custom truck scene to begin with.
The 2023 event was held Nov. 10-11, which as usual, is the week after SEMA and allows several of the big industry players to hang out on the West coast an additional week after SEMA and attend this event. With some of the top builds in the country attending as well as people who travel from thousands of miles away make this event one to attend.

What started as a small get together with Dino Battilana and his friends 13 years ago quickly outgrew the area around his shop and moved around the greater Phoenix area a few times over the years, each time to a larger venue to fit the ever-growing crowd. A few years ago, Dino decided to move the event to the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, which provided a ton of room for growth. This venue is already busting at the seems and this year’s event was no different with an estimated 9,000 vehicles over the two-day event. Friday is dedicated to GM trucks only, while Saturday opens the event to include GM cars as well.
The next Dino’s Git Down is scheduled for Nov. 15-16, 2024, and is once again brought to you by LMC Truck. Make plans early to check out this must-attend event and see some of the nation’s best Chevy and GMC trucks. For more info, check out DinosGitDown.com or find them on all social media platforms.
