2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Hemi

During the original pony car era of the ’60s and ’70s it was all about performance and styling. In 1970 the Mopar boys in Detroit decided to dip their muscle machines in vibrant colors like FC7 Plum Crazy Metallic, FJ5 Sublime/Lime Light, FJ6 Green Go/Sassy Grass Green, EK2 Go Mango/Vitamin C Orange, FM3 Panther Pink/Moulin Rouge, V2 Hemi Orange/Tor Red and FY1 Top Banana/Lemon Twist.

The rear deck lid received a carbon fiber spoiler.
Oddly enough, Alex was able to locate a green air filter made by Green Filter USA.
Raising the hood exposes the 392-ci Hemi engine, which is responsible for producing 470 hp and 470 lbs-ft of torque. Increased power, torque and mileage come from the Diablo Sport Trinity tuner. The factory valve covers received body color Green With Envy paint and flames.

With the most recent late-model muscle car pony car era, featuring the Mustang, Camaro and Challenger, Dodge decided to bring back the vibrant colors of yesterday and offered an ’11 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Hemi Special Edition in a Lime Green Metallic, Green With Envy.

Alex Martin, an avid Mopar guy from San Marcos, California, who belongs to SoCal LX car club, had previously built show-quality customs: ’05 Dodge Magnum and ’06 Chrysler 300. Once Alex caught wind that Dodge was going to be making available the ’11 Challenger Green with Envy as a tribute to the wild and crazy colors of the ’70s pony cars, he had to have one to add to his Mopar stable.

A set of Vossen CV3 aluminum wheels was wrapped with Toyo Proxes 4 rubber. The rotating mass is stopped by Brembo disc bakes at each corner.
The frontend was fitted with a Mopar black chrome grille flanked by a set of four Oracle Plasma Halo headlights and lower Oracle Plasma Halo running lights.

After taking delivery of his Green With Envy Challenger it received a pneumatic ’bagged suspension, the factory five-spoke SRT cast aluminum wheels were swapped out for a set of larger Vossen CV3 22-inch wheels, and Brembo disc brakes and engine accessories including a Magnaflow exhaust were added.

The factory interior delivers performance styling and comfort.

The factory Challenger hood was replaced with a Mopar T/A Hemi hood.
