The Petersen Automotive Museum

Several years ago, when I started doing Automotive Coloring Books, I really didn’t have a vision for the possibilities other than to create some great books, meet awesome people and see some cool sites. But after this Magnus Walker Book Signing at the Petersen Museum recently, looks like dreams do come true.

But it also just goes to prove how amazing car people actually are when you can get a crown like this of nearly a thousand people and they wait in line for 3 hours to get a Free Signed Coloring Book, 1 pair of Magnus’ Nikes and a TON of free Hot Wheels.

Since Mattel sells nearly a million units of these lil’ buggers a day, there’s no sign of cool cars slowing down or events ceasing. The Cool Train has left the building and we’re all on board.

Magnus and I had a great time signing our new Coloring Book and if you missed out, it’s on Amazon and Etsy. But be sure to search for his Hot Wheels and Nikes too! Good stuff.

In a time where there’s a lot of strife in the world, it brings warmth and kindness to all in the car world by putting these events together. I thank the Petersen Museum for doing that, but mostly to the fans that came out to see us, meet, shake hands, fist bump, elbow bump, shoe kick or just wave. An event like this humbles you to your core and increases the gratitude in your life for just being alive to experience it.

Needless to say, we’ll be doing more signings with Spike Feresten at PEC LA and Frank Stephenson too.
