American Iron Off-Road Ball Joint Delete Kits solve that problem. They feature a 4140 chromoly heat-treated stud that passes through a tapered machined steel cup containing a spherical rod bearing. This design eliminates the play and wear-prone attributes of a ball joint’s tapered ball-in-socket system while greatly increasing strength, reliability, and durability.

American Iron Off-Road Ball Joint Delete Kits install just like OEM ball joints and can be completely rebuilt while still mounted on the vehicle.

Old School Ball Joint Delete Kit

The Old School Ball Joint Delete Kit is for classic straight axle Jeeps and trucks. The studs are installed into their corresponding tapers on the inner C-hub mounts. The cup assemblies are pressed into the outer knuckle, and the outer knuckle then slides upward onto the studs and are retained using the included Nyloc nuts. The Old School Ball Joint Delete Kit fits the following vehicles:

Gen 2 Ball Joint Delete Kit for Jeep

The Gen 2 Ball Joint Delete Kit for Jeeps is a high clearance system that features a lower cup machined with a recessed flat for increased room, so it works on everything from OEM-style to larger diameter RCV axle setups. The double-ended upper stud design allows alignments on bent or twisted axle housings. You can also increase or decrease steering firmness by adjusting torque values on the upper and lower joints’ mounting nuts.

Ball Joint Delete Kits for 2004-22 Dodge/Ram 2500/3500

The kits eliminate the factory upper and lower joint misalignments so that the steering knuckles rotate on the same axis. Features include:
