The SEMA Show New Products Awards winners were named during the New Products Awards Breakfast on the opening day of the 2019 SEMA Show. The awards spotlight innovative and cutting-edge specialty-equipment products either already on the market or soon to be introduced. Judging criteria for the awards encompasses quality, craftsmanship, technical achievement, marketability and consumer appeal.
More than 3,000 products were entered for consideration 2019.
WINNER: Modern Driveline, ’94–’04 Mustang Hydraulic Clutch Master Cylinder Conversion Kit
This kit converts the factory clutch cable to hydraulic using the stock pedal assembly and clutch cable mounting location. The kit requires no drilling and installed with basic hand tools. This kit includes the master cylinder which features an integral reservoir, mounting bracket, pedal linkage and all mounting hardware. Master cylinder clears both SOHC & DOHC Mod Motors.
Master cylinder is available in many different bore sizes to be paired properly with different slave cylinder volume requirements. Couple this with our complete line of slave cylinders for T-5, T45, 3650, and T-56 for a complete engineered solution the first time. The patented BetterWeigh™ mobile towing scale #51701 is powered by TowSense™ technology, an accelerometer that measures changes in force and acceleration to provide a live readout of the weights associated with towing. This allows for greater convenience and safer towing by eliminating the guesswork in your trailer setup.

Aimed at drastically improving (not just maintaining) on and off-road ride quality the ICON Jeep Gladiator JT Stage 1 system includes front dual rate coil springs, rear billet aluminum coil spacers, 2.0 Aluminum Series shocks, front bump stops, adjustable sway bar end links, and all necessary hardware for a complete install. The JT is a very capable vehicle off of the showroom floor and with the addition of an ICON suspension system this capability is only expanded upon with improved suspension geometry and more robust components resulting in significant performance gains.

SEER (Smart Entry Exit Recognition) product line combines automated door locking at driver’s departure, automated unlocking when driver is approaching, Hands Free Liftgate opening, illuminated entry, and 4 auxiliary inputs and outputs that are fully customizable to trigger any electronic accessory in the vehicle – all based on driver proximity.
VAIS Technology uses LF and RF communication to determine the driver’s proximity to the vehicle and to authenticate the user. Proprietary software analyzes the driver’s behavior around the car. Communication to the vehicle is done over CAN bus to execute factory door locking, unlocking, turn headlights, dome, puddle, and sentry lights ON or OFF. SEER recognizes a pre-programmed pattern by the power liftgate to activate factory opening or closing without pressing any buttons.

Aeromotive has pioneered speed controlled fuel pumps in the past with its brush-style pumps, enhancing the ability to take high horsepower pumps and put them on the street. The new Variable-Speed Controlled pumps do the same for brushless applications by reducing fuel flow during low-demand situations. Reducing fuel flow from the tank to the engine and back helps combat overheating of the fuel while limiting the noise bigger pumps produce. The lower fuel flow will also extend the already long life of Aeromotive’s brushless pumps.
The Variable-Speed Controllers include a 0-5V analog input that allows for infinite speed control in the set voltage range. They will be included on new brushless pumps and are easily retrofit to existing Aeromotive models with a simple three-wire hookup.
