They’ve also announced a major expansion to their patent pending SoloSwap™ line of engine mockup tools. The mockup engine blocks are light enough to be used for mockup purchases by one person, yet stronger than typical foam or plastic repliacs, allowing you to use your actual accessories, headers, intake and more to ensure your engine or transmission swap is completed properly. This year Speedway Motors is also introducing WindChill™ radiators and cooling system product line at SEMA. The WindChill™ line of universal aluminum 3-core radiators for small block and big block Chevy and Gen 3/Gen4 LS engines are available in multiple widths to fit most applications. The new 3-core radiators feature fully furnace brazed construction with TIG welded end tanks, and an optional internal transmission cooler. The 3-row LS engine radiator models include a steam port and cooling fan temperature sensor port as well. Additional components will include full coverage aluminum fan shrouds with single or dual electric fans, packaged in kit form with WindChill™ radiator for an easy, no stress cooling solution for your classic GM or LS V8 powered project.
Another new product line Speedway Motors is launching at the 2024 SEMA Show is TorqLink™ fabricated steel transmission crossmembers. The new line is manufactured in house from heavy duty 10-guage steel and features adjustable mounting points and adjustable transmission mount pad heights to provide the perfect support for any GM-based automatic or manual transmission, including aftermarket transmissions like the Tremec TKX and T56. Current TorqLink™ applications include 67-72 Chevy C10 pickup, 73-87 Square Body C10 pickup, 64-72 GM A-body cars (Chevelle, GTO, 442, Skylark, etc.), and universal adjustable width applications with up to a 4-inch mounting pad center drop for custom build needs:
