By the time this issue lands in your mailbox, spring should be happily upon us. With any luck, the temperatures are rising, the snow has melted off your front lawn, and those early spring robins are waking you up with their morning songs. The air smells fresher, the days are longer, and everything feels just a little more alive—signs that winter has finally loosened its grip.

For diesel enthusiasts, spring isn’t just a change in weather; it’s the kickoff to a brand-new truck season. It’s time to awaken your sleeping diesel giant (if you parked it over winter like I did) and feel the thrill of those first windows-down, backroad cruises. There’s nothing quite like the hum of a diesel engine and the whistle of a turbo to mark the start of a year’s worth of adventures.

Spring has always held a special place in my heart. It’s a season of new beginnings—a chance to reset, recharge, and look forward to the months ahead. For me, it’s extra special because it’s my birthday season (shoutout to others who share my March birth month). There’s something about those longer days, the return of warm sunshine, and the feeling of sitting behind the wheel of your truck that’s been in storage for months that just hits differently. It’s the start of something incredible, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us this year.

Whether it’s truck shows or race tracks, drag racing or sled pulling, or even tractors hard at work in the field, 2025 is shaping up to be an unforgettable year for the diesel community. From barn-find survivors to spotlighting rare and unique rigs, there’s so much to celebrate about the lifestyle we love. The best part? We’re going to experience it all together—every drag race, every dyno pull, and every turbo whistle.

So, let’s make a deal: Let’s make this the best year yet. From one diesel fan to another, here’s to a year full of unforgettable moments, epic adventures, and plenty of diesel-powered fun.

See you out there!
