They work like this: the pe-cut, application-specific solar panels are hard-mounted to your vehicle’s hood. During daylight hours, they collect solar energy to deliver a constant flow of electricity to your vehicle’s battery(s). This allows you to run 12V accessories like lights, phone/laptop chargers, refrigerators, and other items without running the engine and without the fear of being stranded due to a low battery.
Cascadia 4×4 VSS Solar Panel Kits feature panels made from rugged, multi-layer, marine-grade materials to withstand extreme environmental conditions and remain maintenance-free for years. They follow the contours of the vehicle hood for a seamless factory-like appearance. 3M neoprene foam and high-temperature VHB tape secure the panels without damaging the vehicle’s paint.
