TMI Products’ First 2024 TRIM Road Tour Winner Announced

Corona, California – February 21, 2024 – TMI Products, the leader in custom automotive interiors, has announced the first winner of the 2024 TRIM Road Tour. The TRIM Road Tour is a multi-stop competition that spotlights the best TMI-equipped vehicles from across the nation, leading up to the TMI Products’ TRIM Awards at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

First Stop, First Trophy

The first of the five winners was awarded on February 4th, 2024 at stop number one, the 74th annual Grand National Roadster Show, held at the Fairplex in Pomona, California. Winner Jim McKay from Lakeside Speed & Shine was presented the award from TMI’s own Ross Berlanga and Christian Tuccinardi and the Grand National Roadster Show’s John Buck and will compete with four other winners for the 2024 TRIM Road Tour championship. That winner will earn a trip to the SEMA Show (November 5-8, 2024) that will include a Top 20 finalist spot at the TMI Products’ TRIM Awards at SEMA, a pass to the SEMA Show, a Sponsor Vehicle parking spot at the SEMA Show, and a Seven-night hotel stay during the event.

McKay’s ’70 Chevrolet Chevelle featured a complete TMI interior, utilizing TMI’s custom design and ordering process. McKay selected distressed blood red vinyl material, accented with charcoal, for the Pro Grand front buckets using optional GT inserts. This same theme was applied to the matching rear seat upholstery, molded fiberglass door panels, as well as the molded fiberglass rear quarters. Jim carried the color theme into the TMI center console, carpet kit, headliner, dash pad, and trunk kit, which all work seamlessly together to give some updated flare to a re-imagined classic.

Prospective participants are asked to enter their vehicles online by filling out the electronic form at TRIM Road Tour, where they will be added to the judging roster and potentially earn a trip to Las Vegas later this year.
