Tune Outdoor is a direct-to-consumer brand launching a premium, highly innovative, lightweight pickup truck camper to a growing market hungry for innovation, value, and evolved performance. Focused on function, modularity and a clean, modern aesthetic, Tune empowers the aspirations of outdoor enthusiasts who live to be out in their natural environments.

The Tune Outdoor M1 is unique for these reasons:
• The M1’s design reflects a contemporary character that emphasizes modern simplicity, functionality, and durability.
• The M1 has the industry’s best combination of interior space and overall weight. This is because:
– It features a patented Wing-Wall design that expands the sides to the width of the truck’s mirrors, creating a transverse bed space (sideways sleeping) which allows the entire truck bed to be used for gear and living space;
– Its design employs an uber-light extruded aluminum compound frame and ultra-strong injected composite corner brackets that are stronger than metal, achieving a base weight of only 400 lbs.
• With 6’4” to 6’10” of stand-up headroom (depending on truck model), the bed and living area can be enjoyed simultaneously, opening the entire cabin to camp living – from hanging out and cooking, to toy hauling and remote working.
• The Tune M1 features more than 440’ of T-track on all sides of the camper for limitless customization.
• It is the only camper to offer optional smoked tempered side and rear glass windows that create open, airy feeling and 270-degree panoramic views.
• Tune innovated a simplified build process, leading to best-in-class lead times and lower costs.

• The Tune M1 camper easily integrates with nearly any pickup chassis—from Toyota Tacomas to the Ford Lightning.

Genesis
Most outdoor pursuits today involve some level of vehicle-based adventure—getting there, overnighting, communing with friends, family, and the outdoors. Overlanding as a category is, in way, still in its early stage, while at the same time there’s tremendous pressure on campgrounds and suitable camp space. The design team spotted an opportunity to innovate a canopy topper to meet the needs of a maturing market. From a design perspective, the Tune M1 is highly innovative in the areas of comfort, interior space, customization and design aesthetic.

Leadership
Tune’s success is the product of a dynamic team with a passion for the outdoors engrained in our DNA. Tune is led by Golden, Colo.-based businessman Sean Kepler, who has held executive leadership positions at The North Face, VF Outdoor and Crocs, and by Bruce McGowan, co-founder of Boulder-based backcountry gear brand Backcountry Access (BCA), now part of K2. The team also includes industrial design/build engineer and outdoorsman Kristian Arnold and skilled modeling engineer and designer Broc Patterson.
